FRED DURST: 'I Did Not Want To Like BRITNEY'
April 25, 2003LIMP BIZKIT frontman Fred Durst recently chatted with Steve The Producer from 107.7 The End in Seattle. He talked about the new album, his stance on the war in Iraq, his relationships, and spoke extensively about the Britney Spears situation. Fred said "Just Drop Dead" is not about Britney, but "she did contribute to the energy." He said, "I never really thought that I'd ever like Britney Spears" because "I hate pop music." As for her brush-off of the relationship, he says, "I really felt like I needed to stand up for myself... She wanted to start war with me or something." He added, "I did not want to like her."
